They say: " For the perfect cup of tea, first warm the teapot with a small amount of boiling water and empty, heaping one teaspoon of leaf tea for each cup and an extra one for the pot. Pour over freshly boiled water and leave to brew for two or three minutes, then stir. Pour the brew through a strainer into fine china or porcelain cups, and add a fresh slice of lemon, sugar or honey to taste".

Isto é o que Harrods aconselha. Já em 1849 Mr. Charles Henry Harrod, acreditava que era assim que se devia fazer. Ainda hoje a Harrods é especialista em chás exclusivos e únicos.
